Well it's time that we join the rest of you on this "grown-up" blogging phenomenon. Ben and I have recently been busy with day to day things...work....school...etc. Corky has been sick. I think he tore a ligament so he has had a few trips to the vet. That's been NO fun. This week has been an especially hard week for me. One of my clients committed suicide in the early hours Sunday morning. She was sixteen and decided that she had had enough of what life had to offer. She was hurting and no one knew the extent of it. Least of all, her family. She was an identical twin and seeing her sister at the funeral was unsettling. It is just another reminder of how fragile life is and it can be taken from you in an instant. Ben has been great to me in this time of sorrow. I've only worked with these clients for a little over three years but in that time, I've never had something so tragic happen. On a more positive note, my sister graduated high school a couple of weeks ago and is planning to attend Red Rocks in the fall. Ben and I were hoping to attend the Bullock family reunion but my brother is scheduled to come to Denver during that time and I need to be here to see him. He leaves for Iraq in November and this is my last chance to see him before then. It saddens me to know that I wont be able to keep that pinky promise I made... However, it seems as though we must take a trip to the great land of OHIO this August. Aside from those few things, nothing major going on in our lives....other than living of course.
XOXO

Welcome to the land of the adult bloggers.
I must say You look great! I am alittle jeaous but thats ok. Sorry to hear corky is still sick. dad told me he was sick last week. Congrats to your sister and sorry about your loss. Funerals are never easy. I have been to quite a few and several were suicides for the young and the old. Life is precious HOld tight to the loves you love.
Tell Ben hello and I love him, cause I am sure this isn't his thing and probably doesn't look at it to often. Lv you NINA
It's too bad that you guys might not make it to the Bullock Family reunion - cuz it's awesome. But the idea of you two coming here in August totally makes up for it. Ben and I can ride bikes around the great Ohio corn fields while you two are here - that should be fun.
YAAAYY and at the same time BOOOOOO! I don't think I want to even go now...to the reunion (no joke). I'm so sad, so very very VERY sad. Did I mention my sadness? Love you guys..keep up the blog and congrats on your birth into it.
Hey Rach-
I am so excited you got a blog. Now I can finally know what you guys are up to FIRST HAND!!
I am also so sad to hear about your "client" even though I know she probably felt more like a friend.
You'll be missed at the reunion, but you've got to do what you've got to do. We'll probably see you in August if it's not the week you leave for Ohio.
Hey Rach :)I think it's kind of funny that we both decided to finally blog now. I just got our page going a few days ago. I am sad to hear about someone else taking thier life. It seems to be rampant these days. Every time I turn around. I am also sad that you have to deal with that sort of thing. Most of us will never have those kinds of troubles when speaking of work troubles. I think that you do something that is really important and special. Those jobs are always the hardest. Anyway... we love you lots! And we are sad you arent going to the reunion too...but I suppose I can't complain too much since we do get to see you more than others. :) I love your blog! You look great...
